Volunteer
Blackbird Ranch is a completely volunteer-run organization. Our volunteers work closely with the residents and help with the day-to-day operations of the ranch.
Sponsor an Animal
Animal sponsorships are one of the biggest and best ways to support the sanctuary. It’s a wonderful way to feel connected to a rescued animal and it’s a gratifying feeling to know you are contributing to the health and happiness of your animal. Our monthly animal sponsors help to pay for the food, bedding and veterinary care of the animal they sponsor, which are some of our biggest expenses.
Internships
We offer an internship program, in partnership with Washington State University to provide a few pre-veterinary students each semester with a unique opportunity! They learn animal husbandry, medical care, behavioral training, and general farmed animal management.
