Howard

Howard is a Silver Appleyard drake, that had been abandoned at a public park in Lewiston, Idaho. He was a young boy, not able to fend for himself, and was found by a park ranger, lethargic, skinny and weak. We brought him to the ranch and nursed him back to health and got him plumped up a bit. He now lives with our sweet Holly duck, and the two have become a very bonded pair. Howard is goo-goo over Holly and he stays close to her all the time. He is very gentle with Holly and is never aggressive (as sometimes drakes can be toward the females). Howard loves to go hunting for worms in the mud, and loves blueberries. He is often found in his kiddy pool enjoying a nice bath.
